Skip Skip Skip is about finding your identity through music and discovering your tribe. It is a show about music, belonging, and the lengths we all go to find acceptance.
Songs, comedy, and the heartache of trying to understand a friend’s suicide. This one-man play is happy, sad, and often silly. A life-affirming love letter to shared moments in a theatre. Writer, actor and comedian Doug Crossley was a 2018 Writer on Attachment at Oxford Playhouse and has being shortlisted for several playwriting awards, most recently the Mercury Weinberger Playwriting Prize. This is his debut solo show prior going to the Edinburgh Festival produced by Oxford Playhouse.
Surge is all about stereotypes. It is about prejudice and discrimination. It is about how you see others and judge them on race, class, religion and sexuality. It is a show that hopes to challenge your perceptions, stripping you of what you think is true and reminding you of the potential you have to change your ideas.
