Senegalese master musician Jali Fily Cissokho plays the 21 string West African kora/harp. He comes from a long line of griot musicians and creates a unique natural musical blend that spans centuries and continents. "My aim," he says, "Is to bring KAIRA (peace) to all through my music."
He appears with Natureboy (aka Dave Noble), an equally versatile performer who plays guitar, double bass, sitar plus many other instruments. Natureboy's sound defies easy categories and he's not afraid to cross the musical boundaries of folk, pop, jazz and world music.
They effortlessly and successfully blend their own unique sounds together. They have performed together at festivals and concert halls across the UK and even in Fily's home town Ziguinchor in Senegal.
