Fresh from her travels around Asia, Anouska is back playing her unique blend of indie-folk in gigs around Oxfordshire. A former music student, 19 year old Anouska is a singer songwriter with attitude, penning songs about love, life and tequila. "The stuff I write about is really what's going on in my life," says Anouska, "I write quite simply; I just say it as it is. I don't try and change it or make poems at all. I literally say it as it is."
Home organic, re-genred covers of songs by famous artists that were never very popular in the first place. A bit surfy, a bit Lynchy, a bit CRANDLE. Matt Halliday (formerly bassist of Borderville and Huck and the Handsome Fee) and Sarah Halliday (also singer and keys in Gut Waxy) formed CRANDLE in 2015, after challenging each other to play instruments they hadn’t used before. As a result, their sound is hard to place, even by the band who lovingly refer to it as ‘shonkytonk’.
Asher Dust is the moniker under which AJ has been recording and performing live for twenty plus years. AJ describes his music as soulful, melancholy electronica with a leftfield sensibility, with pop, dub and hip hop influences.
