Rosie Caldecott is a singer and songwriter born and raised in Oxford, and has been on the underground music scene in Oxford for the last 7 years.
With influences including Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, This is the Kit and Laura Marling, Rosie writes believing in honest songwriting. She is writing songs that she finds therapeutic and that help her come to terms with the turbulent world in which we all live. She shares them in hopes they might offer others the same.
Rosie is 'Combining bravely progressive structures with unapologetically poetic folk sensibilities' (alonelyghostburning.co.uk). Her debut album 'Inside Out' was recorded with Upcycled Sounds and released back in 2014, and her single 'The Swell' was released earlier this year.
