Emerging singer and songwriter Haula has been building a remarkable underground reputation since her debut soul-bearing RnB cuts ‘Darkest Hour’ and ‘Freedom’. Picking up considerable tastemaker support from the likes of NME Magazine , Lines of Best Fit, PIGEONS & PLANES, AFROPUNK, The Unsigned Guide and OKAY PLAYER to name but a few, the singer offers her listeners atmospheric, and darkly anthemic Pop/RnB.
Underpinning a considerable talent for melody and a haunting, natural vocal, radio support has come via BBC R1 and Huw Stephens as well as BBC 6Music and BBC 1XTRA. Championed by her local BBC Introducing Oxford, Haula has played at some of the UK’s best venues/ festivals including the o2 Academy and Truck Festival. Conjuring the glacial emotion and expansiveness of Kate Bush or Anya, hers is a raw, timeless and effortless style. After the release of her 5th track, Haula is back in the studio writing and recording new material to be released later this year.
