Medea Electronica

  • The Old Fire Station 40 George Street Oxford, England, OX1 2AQ United Kingdom (map)

A wild and imaginative gig-theatre retelling of the ancient Greek tragedy, set in the technological turbulence of the 1980s.

With the discovery of her husband's deceit and betrayal, Medea is driven to embark on a journey of savage revenge and destruction. This intense drama plays out amidst the brilliant chaos of a live gig; an all original mash up of contemporary, cinematic soundscapes and 1980’s Electronica.

Ages 16+. 1 hour. In the OFS Theatre. £10.

Tickets for Offbeat shows are available from both the Oxford Playhouse and Old Fire Station. If one seems to be sold out, please check the other - they may have tickets available!
